Welcome To The Scraps 2 Stitches MAL!
Got yarn tucked away just waiting for the right project? Scraps to Stitches is a Make-Along (MAL) all about turning your stash into something beautiful — and this bundle brings together six patterns from three independent designers to help you do exactly that.
How it works
The MAL runs throughout September 2026, with patterns available to grab individually or as this discounted bundle from 25th August. That’s also when our MAL Discord server opens, so you can settle in, say hello, and get organised ahead of time. Throughout September, our community will be crocheting one or more of these patterns together, alongside games, giveaways, and live events along the way. Simply grab your pattern(s), join the Discord, and have fun!
As a little thank you for joining in, every bundle purchase also comes with a free entry into our giveaway, with extra chances to win by completing our MAL bingo card.

This one isn’t included as a written pattern file within the bundle, but is available to grab from Joanne’s blog — you’ll also find it shared in the MAL Discord.

Humpkin The Humpty Pumpkin is my other MAL pattern included in the bundle.
Humpkin, is the country cousin of Humpfree the Rainbow Humpty, and lives on a lovely farm near the forest where he tends his amazing prize winning pumpkins! He’s so obsessed he even dresses like a pumpkin at the pumpkin weigh-in because he thinks it brings him good luck to be ‘at one’ with the giant orange beauties!
Falling Leaves Woodland Wall Hanging Mosaic Pattern
Much like the curious hedgehog in this, my ’Scraps To Stitches MAL’ design, I love to wander in the woods in the Autumn, to see what natural wonders can be found. The fascination of colours, shapes and textures from falling leaves, pine cones and ‘propeller’ seeds, which offers the irresistible temptation to bring home souvenirs to make cosy crafts!
I wanted to bring that ‘foraging factor’ to this design, emphasising the idea of using scraps and found materials to create something new and exciting; which is why I incorporated the use of real pinecones, beads rescued from broken jewellery and fallen twigs into the piece.
It is my hope that the experience of searching, collecting, and foraging in your yarn stash to find supplies for this project, are as enjoyable and meaningful as making and crocheting the wall hanging itself, and that it becomes not just a fun and cosy craft for fall, but your own ‘souvenir’ of a special place and time.

Quirky Birds Mosaic Blanket
Meet the flock! This September’s Scraps to Stitches MAL includes Nichola’s (@elimee_designs) Quirky Birds Blanket — and it’s a fun one.
It’s overlay mosaic crochet, but not as you know it — one simple bird base gets a totally different quirky makeover every time it shows up. Crown here, glasses there… and let’s just say one bird is a little more confident than the rest
If you’ve never tried mosaic crochet before, this is such a fun (and genuinely achievable) place to start. Video tutorials are included too, so you’re never stuck.
Grab your scraps and come join us for the MAL!
Nichola’s other pattern included in the MAL is the Leopard Print Stashbuster Blanket!

The Charmed Deer Hanging Ornament pattern created by Joanne, included both a Knit and Crochet version!
Flutter Around Shawl & Square
Designed By Joanne Fowler of Made With Love And Fibres, this dramatic and romantic shawl cloaks the wearer in a cloud of dazzling butterflies. It’s an eye-catching element for your wardrobe that provides warmth to your shoulders on cool summer evenings.
The fun stitches and simple construction make this an interesting, yet relaxing make and the butterfly motifs are an excellent portable project to carry with you on the go. This make also offers the chance for stash-busting to use small quantities of your favourite leftover yarn scraps in the butterfly wings, turning your shawl into an album of your favourite craft memories.
In addition, the square works up in aran/worsted yarn to 15cm/6” a popular size for crochet square designs and the Flutter Around Squares can be used alongside any others of the same size in sampler blankets, bags, cushions or whatever you like to make with crocheted squares.
