For those of you who haven’t taken part before, the MMCAL is an annual amigurumi Crochet Along that I host from 13th October until Halloween Eve!

Free for subscribers of my newsletter only, this event is a fun make which takes place over one week, but then followed up by an awesome spook-tacular competition!

The Hookanory MMCAL Comp is a bit different to your usual crochet competition or give-away in that it’s the PHOTO or image of the work that is judged.

WHAAT? – yes my philosophy is that anyone can win, you don’t have to be the best-est ever crocheter of 10 years experience to win my comp, you just need to have fun, make the ami and take a creative photo of it. you can even make an animation or reel with it or a composite image using photoshop or Ai provided the main image is a genuine photo of your work! So a beginner has just as much chance to win as an expert ami artist!
